GIS Analyst / Researcher
About
GIS Analyst/Developer and Researcher working in the area of social and health research. I am currently working on projects relating to transport and accessibility; walkability, urban form and physical activity; children's geographies; sustainability; alcohol policy; indigenous health and wellbeing; gambling; and social and recreational travel.
My tasks are varied and include: GIS analysis, mentoring, teaching, software development, data analysis, data entry and cleaning, database management, map production, project management, writing reports and papers, contributing to grant applications and research design, assisting with surveys, attending conferences, and web content management.
Previously I worked as a GIS Analyst in an engineering consultancy, and I have an MSc in Coastal Geography and a BCom (Hons) in Information Systems.
